Community Involvement - RMHCRonald McDonald House Charities of Corpus Christi provides a comfortable home-away-from-home for families who must travel to fulfill their children’s healthcare needs. We believe when you change a child’s life, you change a family’s, which can change a community, and ultimately, the world. As pioneers of providing family-centered care, RMHC strives to be part of the solution in imporving the lives of children and their families, providing programs that strengthen families during that time.

Every dollar you give stays local and will directly support the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Corpus Christi. With your support, we can continue make a difference in the lives of our guest families.

TOKCEach year, 175,000 children are diagnosed with pediatric cancers. In 2006, 13 year old James A. Ragan was one of those children. From 2006 onwards, James dedicated the remainder of his life to raising awareness and funds for this cause. The Triumph Over Kid Cancer foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of children with cancer by raising their spirits, raising the public’s awareness, and funding research to improve the treatment and survivability of pediatric cancers.

To date, TOKC has funded over $3 million dollars of research into pediatric cancers through our partnership with M.D Anderson in the Children’s Sarcoma Project. Every dollar we raised was matched dollar for dollar by M.D. Anderson. Your donation will go towards improving the treatment and survivability of Pediatric Cancer through research:

Incarnate Word AcademyIncarnate Word Academy (IWA) of Corpus Christi is a private, Catholic college preparatory school educating all grade levels: Elementary Level-Montessori (Age 3-Grade 5), Elementary Level-Traditional (Age 3-Grade 5), Middle Level (Grades 6-8), and High School Level (Grades 9-12).

Motivated by a philosophy of Catholic education and by the charism of the Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament, Incarnate Word Academy exists to create a climate for learning with God as the highest value. We strive to integrate faith with high academic standards across our campus.

Administrators, teachers, coaches, counselors, and staff members work together to form a Christian community which initiates students as growing members into the faith community. We create an atmosphere that allows students to be genuinely aware and curious, to do their personal best with every endeavor, to be humble and honest, to develop personal talents, and to think with an open mind: logically, accurately, and critically.
